Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2013, Volume 7, Issue 1,   Pages 85-96 doi: 10.1007/s11783-012-0399-3

Abstract: were conducted to investigate the variations, transfer potential, and stability of Cadmium (Cd) and Lead(Pb) accumulations in celery ( L.) and to screen for low Cd and Pb accumulative cultivars. These genotype variations in Cd accumulation are sufficiently large to help reduce Cd contamination riskCd accumulation of the Low-Cd-Accumulative genotypes is significantly positive correlated with Pb accumulationThe presence of high-Pb contamination in soil promoted Cd accumulation in shoots of celery.
